How To Identify Your Canopy Brand / Manufacturer
If you no longer don't have a canopy with a label and you aren't sure what you have.
Here are a few canopy characteristics.
Beach King® is a deep square bowed frame canopy that has flat ends.
DAKA® are flat end, shallow frame with raised peak
FLOE is a flat end peaked roof canopy. It has a unique attachment system. Older canopies have an aluminum clamp with 2" elastic black and green in color that can be adjusted and tensioned. They have 1" webbing snaps at their peak to the frame.
Hewitt has a number of styles. Tower, peaked roof with a slight radius. They also have a flat end canopy with a peak. They have 1" webbing snaps at their peak to the frame.
Lakeshore Products/ LSP
Lakeshore Product is a shallow canopy with ends that slide into two side rail pipes which are about 4" in diameter.
Newmans® has slopped rounded ends. The frames bolt together in the middle at the rounded peak down the back of the frame
Pier Pleasure® has flat ends, peaked roof and a slight radious at the bottom of the side panels.
Porta-Dock is a flat end with a peak. They have 1" webbing snaps at their peak to the frame.
ShoreMaster® has rounded ends and high rounded corners. They have vent flaps in each end of their canopy and have holes in the bows to attach s-hooks or bungee hooks. The frames bolt together in the middle down the back/peak of the frame. There is a flat barn running the length of the inside on both sides.
ShoreStation® is a shallow canopy with ends that slide into two side rail pipes which are about 4" in diameter. Older ShoreStation lifts have pockets that run down the length of the sides and had long metal bands inside. The clips have sharp hooks that attach to the ribs.
