Shipping + Returns + Warranty


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.


When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.


Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange request...

Log in to your account and select the order containing the product you wish to return or exchange (returns are only allowed within 30 days of purchase)
From the order overview select the "Request Return" link from upper right corner
Complete the return request form (all fields required)
Pack your items and return to Boat Lift and Canopy; shipping fees for returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We inspect all returned items when they arrive at our processing facility and following the below return policy accordingly.

Refund Policy
We allow you to return your purchase for up to 30 days after the invoice date. If over 30 days have passed since your purchase, we are not able to offer a refund or exchange, even if the product is defective or different from what you intended to order.


To be eligible for a return, the returned item must be unused, sent back to us in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. We reserve the right to offer partial refunds if an item is not in the original condition, is damaged or is missing parts or accessories for reasons not due to our error. Certain items are not eligible to be returned. Non-returnable items include: (i) gift cards; ( ii) downloadable products; and (iii) items indicated by “No Returns” on the product detail page.


We inspect all returned items when they arrive at our processing facility. We are not responsible for damage to the product during return shipment. When returning a product to us, we recommend that you insure the product with the shipper for the full price of the item. Shipping fees for returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser.


Defective Product
Boat Lift and Canopy will replace and ship a comparable replacement product to you at no charge upon receipt of a product that we determine has a manufacturing defect. Products returned due to a manufacturing defect will not be charged restocking fee.


Open Item Return
If you return an item that has been opened or shows signs of wear, we may issue a partial refund for the product minus the initial shipping charge and a 20% restocking fee.


Receiving your Refund
Once your return is received and processed, you can expect your refund within 14 business days from the day we receive the returned product.


Out-of-Stock / Back-Order Items
If you have ordered an item that Boat Lift and Canopy no longer carries or is currently unavailable, we will contact you, either using the phone number or email provided to us on your order invoice. You have the option for us to either send you a comparable replacement item or for us to issue a refund of the current market value of the product. Item refunds may not exceed the original invoice price.


Promotional Items
When any promotional item is returned, the value of the promotional item is deducted from the refund amount. Any charges mentioned in Boat Lift and Canopy return policy may be applicable to promotional item returns.


Returns Not Accepted
The following items may not be returned:

Labor, delivery and/or installation services
Items that are missing accessories, or parts
Any product not purchased from Boat Lift and Canopy
Items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases
Any product damaged due to improper use

Warranty Policy

5-Year Warranty on all
Boat Lift and Canopy Replacement Canopy Covers

Canopy Covers are "made-to-order" and are thus specific to your order. However, we understand that sometimes a product that you purchase doesn't work out, which is why we will try to make the return process as easy as possible for you. We want you to be satisfied with your order so you'll purchase again from - and recommend - All canopy covers may be returned within the first 30 days after shipment, but are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please refer to our Return Policy for additional details and information on how to request a return. All returns must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging in good condition; plus parts, accessories, manuals, and/or warranty cards included. Please note that each boat cover manufacturer may have additional requirements concerning product returns or warranty claims, including but not limited to: restocking fees, shipping fees, or product order change fees. Because canopy covers are "made-to-order", there will be a 15% fee for any canopy covers order cancellation after 1 business day of purchase, because it has already gone into production. We do not accept returns after 30 days from the purchase date, at that time you will need to refer to the Warranty Program below for any Warranty Claims.


Warranty Policy
We warranty that - with proper installation and care - a Boat Lift and Canopy cover will remain in good visual condition for a minimum period of five years, without failure due to excessive fading or rupture, subject to the following terms, provisions and conditions. A Boat Lift and Canopy cover shall be deemed to have failed due to excessive fading only in the event that during the first five years following the date of shipment from Boat Lift and Canopy, it should fade to such an extent that it can no longer fulfill it's intended advertising, decorative, or identifying role when viewed from a normal distance.


Suffering failure as defined in this warranty, during the first three years following the date of shipment, Boat Lift and Canopy will supply a duplicate canopy in exchange for the canopy which is deemed to have failed. In the event of failure during the fourth year following the date of shipment, Boat Lift and Canopy will supply a replacement canopy at the then prevailing price, less a rebate of 40% of the said price. In the event of failure during the fifth year following the date of shipment, Boat Lift and Canopy will supply a replacement canopy at the then prevailing price, less a rebate of 20% of the said price.


In addition to visual characteristics, a Boat Lift and Canopy cover is also warranted to meet (within industry accepted tolerances) our stated product specification in effect at the time of purchase. Failure which can be attributed to improper installation of the canopy, or to distortion of the framework upon which the Boat Lift and Canopy cover is mounted, is not covered by this warranty.


No rebate or replacement will be made for any canopy subsequent to the five year period covered by this warranty, or at any time for damage resulting from negligence, vandalism, or chemically induced degradation. The foregoing constitutes Boat Lift and Canopy's sole warranty with respect to Boat Lift and Canopy Cover, and all other representation, warranties, guarantees or conditions, be they expressed, implied, and tacit, are hereby excluded. The liability of Boat Lift and Canopy, here under is limited to replacement and/or rebate as aforesaid and in no event shall Boat Lift and Canopy be liable for consequential or special damages of any type whatsoever.


Bargain Bin or Clearance canopies are void of manufacturer warranty.
